You know what one of the best parts about summer is?? The food of course! One of my favorite being s’mores….yeah I know not the healthiest! Ever since going vegan it has been quite hard to find vegan marshmallows. They are out there, but only carried in specialty supermarkets and are a bit pricey. One step down from your traditional smores’ is a smores’ bar!
I have seen these everywhere from pinterest and instagram to magazines. These are an easier and more indulgent way to enjoy the delicious combination of graham cracker, chocolate, and toasted marshmallow.
So I decided….how exactly would I be able to “healthify” a s’mores bar? Continue reading “S’mores Bars | A Healthier Version”
Summer is approaching and that means more and more delicious fruits are coming into season! One of them being pineapple, which is at the top of my favorites list. What better way to take advantage of pineapple being in season than using it in a delicious cupcake recipe??
Pineapple and coconut are truly the perfect pairing…so fresh and delicious!
This Pina Colada inspired cupcake recipe is definitely one to try. Continue reading “Piña Colada (Inspired) Cupcakes”
I am back! and come bearing a new and delicious recipe! I felt like I have not posted on my blog in forever and that is entirely due to my busy schedule of: moving & studying for finals. Seriously…its been pretty hectic. My life is starting to calm down just a little bit so I finally had some time to create a new recipe and I think you are going to like this one.
I have never been a huge cupcake fan, so muffins have always been my go to. These are not only super easy to make, but are healthy and of course 100% vegan. Continue reading “Healthy Banana Nut Muffins”
Long time no post!! I have recently started winter quarter and lets just say it has been a lot more stressful and time consuming than fall quarter. I haven’t had much time to post any recipes, but what better time to post a winter themed recipe?! This is the perfect dish to enjoy on a cold wintery day, and is very budget friendly and oh so delicious.
I wanted to create a dish that was helpful for anyone trying to save money and buy foods that are easily available. The best way to save money?? Buy vegetables in season! This soup contains all winter vegetables that are available at your local supermarket and in season. Continue reading “Winter Vegetable Soup & Cauliflower Parsnip Puree”
Another thanksgiving recipe coming to you! Gravy is a staple in a thanksgiving meal. It is topped on everything and anything! Mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies…you name it. Turkey gravy is often very salty and not vegan of course. I threw together this really simple and easy gravy that will hit the spot this thanksgiving.
It is amazing on top of my Vegan Lentil Stuffing! This gravy is lower in sodium then your traditional gravy, and is made out of pretty simple ingredients. Continue reading “Easy Vegan Mushroom Gravy”
Coming back with another delicious fall recipe! I have never been a great pie maker so making my own recipe for one made me quite hesitant. To my surprise, it actually turned out really well on the first try. Of course I re-made it a couple times to get it just right.
This was actually a fun recipe for me to make, because it was originally a challenge between my fellow vegan friend, Trisha, and I. We decided to pick three ingredients that were “fall-inspired” and make a dish out of it. The ingredients were:
- Maple syrup

Just another pumpkin flavoured recipe coming at you LOL. You can never have too much pumpkin….well I guess maybe. I whipped this recipe up today. It was super quick and easy and a perfect little treat for this season.
What I love about this recipe is that it’s super easy and a lot healthier then your traditional Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups….and in my opinion it tastes a heck of a lot better. All of the ingredients are relatively healthy, but sweet enough to cure that sweet tooth at the end of the week. Continue reading “Vegan Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cups”
It’s that time of year again…Fall season! Time to break out all the pumpkin flavoured things am I right?! I already posted a vegan pumpkin bread recipe, so I decided to update my raw vegan pumpkin pie recipe I created last year. I admit, it wasn’t the best recipe I have made and there was for sure a lot of adjustments I wanted to make, but never did. So after a year of improving my baking/cooking skills I wanted to post an updated version.
This time the pie keeps its shape better and is just the right texture. I wanted it to keep its shape when you slice into it and didn’t want it to have a consistency that was like ice…Thats when the coconut milk came into play. Continue reading “Raw Vegan Pumpkin Pie | Updated Recipe”
Yes you heard it right….A vegan snickers bar recipe! I was so pumped to share this recipe with all of you, because it is so amazingly good! What’s better then chocolate and caramel?!
I have seen tons of vegan snickers bar recipes out there, but all of them were the same. I have never been a huge fan of date caramel, which is essentially dates and water blended up into a paste. I know it’s a healthier route when making vegan treats, but I wanted to get that real snickers bar taste. So I went on the handy dandy internet and searched up a real vegan caramel recipe and I came across, “PALEO CARAMEL SAUCE” by Bakerita.com. It was the perfect caramel recipe, super sticky, sweet, and relatively healthy ingrediants.
Real snickers bar have that gooey and sweet caramel that pulls apart when you bite into it and that was exactly what I needed. Trust me…this recipe does just that. Continue reading “Vegan Snickers Bar Recipe | EASY AND DELICIOUS!”
Okay..Okay…I have been slightly obsessed with pumpkin flavoured food/drinks lately so whats better then some delicious pumpkin bread?! I remember a couple weeks ago I went to the store and stocked up on 10+ pumpkin flavoured things…a little crazy? I know!
Surprisingly I have never had pumpkin bread before so when I chose to make my own recipe for it…I was a little hesitant. Needless to say, it was a bit hard. Continue reading “Vegan Pumpkin Bread”
