Easy Vegan Mushroom Gravy

Another thanksgiving recipe coming to you! Gravy is a staple in a thanksgiving meal. It is topped on everything and anything! Mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies…you name it. Turkey gravy is often very salty and not vegan of course. I threw together this really simple and easy gravy that will hit the spot this thanksgiving.

Vegan Lentil Stuffing | Healthy & Easy

It’s finally that time of year! Thanksgiving is less then a week away and I can not wait any longer. I am so excited to stuff myself with a ton of delicious vegan food. Before I was vegan I always thought that I would start hating thanksgiving, because there would be no options. No turkey?! What am I going to eat?!

What I have learned over this past year of being vegan is that, I don’t have to miss out on anything!! Almost anything can be made vegan. From mashed potatoes to stuffing, I can have it all. Last year I made a couple recipes of my own for thanksgiving and I didn’t have a chance to share it with you all. Unfortunately, those recipes got lost. Vegan Cranberry Pecan Pie w/ Candied Pecans

Coming back with another delicious fall recipe! I have never been a great pie maker so making my own recipe for one made me quite hesitant. To my surprise, it actually turned out really well on the first try. Of course I re-made it a couple times to get it just right.

This was actually a fun recipe for me to make, because it was originally a challenge between my fellow vegan friend, Trisha, and I. We decided to pick three ingredients that were “fall-inspired” and make a dish out of it. The ingredients were:

  • Maple syrup
  • Cranberries
  • Pecans

Vegan Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cups

Just another pumpkin flavoured recipe coming at you LOL. You can never have too much pumpkin….well I guess maybe. I whipped this recipe up today. It was super quick and easy and a perfect little treat for this season. 

What I love about this recipe is that it’s super easy and a lot healthier then your traditional Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups….and in my opinion it tastes a heck of a lot better. Raw Vegan Pumpkin Pie | Updated Recipe

It’s that time of year again…Fall season! Time to break out all the pumpkin flavoured things am I right?! I already posted a vegan pumpkin bread recipe, so I decided to update my raw vegan pumpkin pie recipe I created last year. I admit, it wasn’t the best recipe I have made and there was for sure a lot of adjustments I wanted to make, but never did. So after a year of improving my baking/cooking skills I wanted to post an updated version.

Vegan Snickers Bar Recipe | EASY AND DELICIOUS!

Yes you heard it right….A vegan snickers bar recipe! I was so pumped to share this recipe with all of you, because it is so amazingly good! What’s better then chocolate and caramel?!

I have seen tons of vegan snickers bar recipes out there, but all of them were the same. I have never been a huge fan of date caramel, which is essentially dates and water blended up into a paste. I know it’s a healthier route when making vegan treats, but I wanted to get that real snickers bar taste. So I went on the handy dandy internet and searched up a real vegan caramel recipe and I came across, “PALEO CARAMEL SAUCE” by Bakerita.com. It was the perfect caramel recipe, super sticky, sweet, and relatively healthy ingrediants.

Three Steps to Going Vegan -NO EXCUSES

I know what it feels like to wonder why people go vegan or ask myself how is it possible?! I was at a time in my life where I told myself I could never go vegan. There’s always those common excuses people make to not go vegan: “I love meat too much,” “I won’t get enough nutrients,” “I love cheese or dairy too much.” Trust me I was there. I felt like I could never go vegan, because I would be deprived of all of the delicious foods.

Vegan Pumpkin Bread

 

Okay..Okay…I have been slightly obsessed with pumpkin flavoured food/drinks lately so whats better then some delicious pumpkin bread?! I remember a couple weeks ago I went to the store and stocked up on 10+ pumpkin flavoured things…a little crazy? I know!
