S’mores Bars | A Healthier Version

You know what one of the best parts about summer is?? The food of course! One of my favorite being s’mores….yeah I know not the healthiest! Ever since going vegan it has been quite hard to find vegan marshmallows. They are out there, but only carried in specialty supermarkets and are a bit pricey. One step down from your traditional smores’ is a smores’ bar! 

I have seen these everywhere from pinterest and instagram to magazines.  These are an easier and more indulgent way to enjoy the delicious combination of graham cracker, chocolate, and toasted marshmallow.

Caramel Vanilla Bean Cookie Slices (Gluten-free, Refined-sugar free)

I was a bit hesitant on making this recipe, as I have never experiment with gluten-free baking before, but it turned out way better than I expected! These Caramel Vanilla Bean Cookie Slices are too die for and I was holding myself back from eating the whole batch.

Salted Date Caramel Cookies

Homemade & Healthy Fig Bars

The title of this recipe may sound familiar and that is because this was one of the first few recipes I had posted on my blog. I recently made them last week to take on a road trip to Oregon and I altered the recipe a bit. Well…they turned out a lot better than the first time and I had to update the recipe.

They are softer in texture…not quite like a cookie more of a biscuit. 

A few tsps of orange zest & a tsp of orange juice paired nicely with the fig filling making it perfectly sweet and slightly tangy.

Piña Colada (Inspired) Cupcakes

Summer is approaching and that means more and more delicious fruits are coming into season! One of them being pineapple, which is at the top of my favorites list. What better way to take advantage of pineapple being in season than using it in a delicious cupcake recipe??

Healthy Banana Nut Muffins

I am back! and come bearing a new and delicious recipe! I felt like I have not posted on my blog in forever and that is entirely due to my busy schedule of: moving & studying for finals. Vegan Cranberry Pecan Pie w/ Candied Pecans

Coming back with another delicious fall recipe! I have never been a great pie maker so making my own recipe for one made me quite hesitant. To my surprise, it actually turned out really well on the first try. Of course I re-made it a couple times to get it just right.

This was actually a fun recipe for me to make, because it was originally a challenge between my fellow vegan friend, Trisha, and I. We decided to pick three ingredients that were “fall-inspired” and make a dish out of it. The ingredients were:

  • Maple syrup
  • Cranberries
  • Pecans

Vegan Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cups

Just another pumpkin flavoured recipe coming at you LOL. You can never have too much pumpkin….well I guess maybe. I whipped this recipe up today. It was super quick and easy and a perfect little treat for this season. 

What I love about this recipe is that it’s super easy and a lot healthier then your traditional Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups….and in my opinion it tastes a heck of a lot better. Raw Vegan Pumpkin Pie | Updated Recipe

It’s that time of year again…Fall season! Time to break out all the pumpkin flavoured things am I right?! I already posted a vegan pumpkin bread recipe, so I decided to update my raw vegan pumpkin pie recipe I created last year. I admit, it wasn’t the best recipe I have made and there was for sure a lot of adjustments I wanted to make, but never did. So after a year of improving my baking/cooking skills I wanted to post an updated version.
